Monday-Enjoy your Memorial Day holiday!!!

Tuesday-Unit 15 vocabulary: test is on Friday, May 30th; Read the following chapters “Summoned by the Mighty Ones” and “The Return to Egypt” from The Egypt Game.

Wednesday-complete Setting/Poster compare and contrast essay-draft #2-due on Friday; complete “Elizabethan Diplomacy”  from The Egypt Game. Also, complete Unit 15 vocabulary unit. Complete Part B Five Comprehension Questions and Journal Activity.

Thursday-Read the follow chapters: “The Oracle Speaks” and “Where is Security?” from The Egypt Game. Write annotations for the two chapters. Complete Unit 15 and draft #2 for Setting poster.

Friday-Have an awesome weekend!!!

4th Grade

Monday-Write a paragraph from Bull Run in which you put yourself in one of the first four character’s shoes. Include your thoughts, feelings, and attitude about the conflict between the North and South.

Tuesday-Complete 2nd rough draft using peer editing checklist.

Wednesday-Complete final draft using peer editing checklist (due Thursday). Complete vocabulary activity for Bull Run (due Friday).

Thursday-Comprehension questions for Bull Run and vocabulary activities.

Friday-Have an outstanding weekend!!!

5th Grade

Monday and Tuesday-Complete the 2nd draft essay for The Egypt Game Opinion Essay using the peer editing checklist and prediction chart. (due Wednesday)

Wednesday-Unit 15 vocabulary and comprehension check questions for The Egypt Game.

Thursday-final draft essay is due on Friday. Work on Unit 15 Vocabulary Workshop.

Friday-Final draft of Opinion Essay is due. Have an outstanding weekend!

Reminders:

1. Please return the Vision form on Tuesday, May 13, 2014

2. Please return the field trip slip with payment for the band field trip on Tuesday, May 13th. If permission slips are not submitted by Tuesday, students will not be able to attend the field trip planned for Thursday, May 15th.
