ELA: RI.5.2 (determine two or more main ideas of a text and explain how they are supported by key details; summarize the text) and R.I.5.3 (explain the relationships or interactions between two or more individuals, events, ideas, or concepts in a historical, scientific or technical text based on specific information in the text.

Notes:

*We only have four cell phones and our goal is to submit 15 by November 1st for NO HOMEWORK for the week.

*No school on Friday, Nov. 1st (Teacher Institute Day)

*Hot Food Day is Nov. 15 (Friday) Subway

SS-This Day in History on Thursday is quiz with enrichment and Main Idea Box and Bullet graphic organizer. Also, project is due on November 7, 2013 (see handout, will be distributed on Tuesday, Oct. 22).

Wednesday-SS. Jr. Scholastic (Puzzle and Quiz Wizard)

Thursday-SS-Jr. Scholastic (due on Oct. 30th) and ELA-comparing firsthand and secondhand information.
